My interest in the fitness industry truly peaked after having my son. At the time I was amazed to find out how little information there was about exercising safely after having a baby. This was my gateway into fitness, I wanted to find a way to work with families and educate Mums about the importance of recovery & re-strengthening post birth and beyond.
This then opened my mind to the industry as a whole. I decided to train as a personal trainer to help not just families, but the general population discover their own journey and reach their goals. I have found coming into the industry with a different point of view to most PTs has made me a very relatable trainer, not just to other Mums, but also to any client who is new to the gym or wants to improve their health and fitness but isn’t sure how to get started, I remember feeling the same way and understand the barriers it can create in reaching your goals.
For this reason, I made it my missions to create a community feel within my training whether you are in a group fitness class or one on one environment with me, I try to make it a safe and friendly environment for you to grow and learn. These experiences have made me a passionate trainer and an advocate for personal education and consistency in training both for myself and my clients, it has also made me a more open minded and understanding mum.
